Berechinskiy VyacheslavVyacheslav Berechinskiy is an artist, curator. He was born in 1970 in Leningrad. Since the mid-1980s he is engaged in avant-garde experiments in painting. In the 1990s he wrote electronic music. In 2000, the music album "Chekhov" was released in Japan, Europe and the USA. Since 1993 he has been working in the Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts. He graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Fine Arts, the faculty of "Museum studies and monuments protection", specialty "Attribution of museum items". In 2011 together with the project "YOU'R ART" made his pictures "Faces" on t-shirts. May 2013 - co-author and curator of the exhibition "Assa: the last generation of the Leningrad avant-garde" (Titian Hall of the Museum of the Academy of Arts). 2015 - co-author and curator of the exhibition of Timur Novikov in the Cast Department of the Scientific Research Museum of the Academy of Arts, 2015-2016 - co-author and curator of the exhibition of Pavel Peppershtein's "Hunters for the marble heads ”in the Imagery Department of the Academy's Research Museum Arts. Laureate of the award in the field of contemporary art. S. Kuryokhin 2015 in the nomination "Best curatorial project". Participant in numerous exhibitions, of the last - the exhibition «Faces. 1990-s» in YOU’R ART gallery (2013),  "City. Faces "in the gallery Art Muza (2014), exhibition" Meetings" in the museum-apartment of I. I. Brodsky (2015). Works are in private collections in Russia, Europe and the United States. The artist works with a characteristic manner of his work, referring to the traditions of modernism in the first half of the 20th century. Particularly influenced by its formation was the art of post-impressionism, artists of the Paris School and expressionists of the first wave.
