Ivanov Igor

Igor Ivanov – artist, member of IFA Was born in Leningrad. In childhood he studied at children's art school and later in The College of architecture and construction in Leningrad (St.Petersburg), where he learn interior and decorative design. He created many interiors of apartments and restaurants. Designed numerous exhibitions and art events. Worked as a graphic designer of books and music CDs. Since the late nineties, he participated in exhibitions actively. He had more than 25 solo exhibitions. Works of the artist are in private and gallery collections including The Russian State Museum and The Museum of Nonconformist art. He works exclusively in the authentic manner, using parts from disassembled appliances and electronics. His work reflects the author's fascination with space, UFOlogy, ancient history and science fiction. With his work the artist encourages the use of recycled materials in art to prevent further pollution of the planet.
